Anupama and Choti Anu are being taken to the seashore by Anuj.
Choti Anu’s laughing makes both of their cheeks light up as Anuj and Anupama swing Choti in the air, her feet touching the waters of the ocean.
Later, the three of them celebrate Anupama’s birthday in the same orphanage from where Anu was adopted.
Meanwhile, Leela and Hasmukh recall Anupama’s birthday and decide to phone her.
Hasmukh is concerned because Anupama does not pick it up, which he believes is a bad sign.
Maya feels envious seeing Anupama, Anuj, and Anu together at Kapadia Mansion and declares that because she didn’t secure a ticket for late night, she will be departing the next morning.
Anupama does not respond to Maya as she hugs Choti.
But, Anupama’s suppressed worry deepens as she looks across to Anuj and whispers if Maya would go without Anu or not.
